Self-Promotion Stationery
Modeled after my own birth certificate, this stationery system has an authentic and age-old feel, yet is
still simple and striking. The antiquated practice of Phrenology provides a visual metaphor for good design:
everything, even the tiniest detail, has a meaning, translation and purpose.

Detail of business cards
Personal Business Card
In addition to print design, I also design for the web, take my own photography and make
jewelry and handmade books. So my business card has to be multipurpose. I combined a
formal grid structure on the front with a more playful antique illustration on the back.
This card represents an elegant design nature rooted in simplicity with lots of old soul flavor.
Asrai Garden
Larger than standard, square sized business cards are screen printed by hand in beautiful gold and
black ink on a dark grey stock. How divine!
Dean Optical
Business card design for 80-year old eye doctor practice in downtown Chicago.
Part of full stationery system and signage.
Old Soul
A vertical format and use of white space lend a contemporary feel to these business cards for an
up and coming jewelry company. Featuring the striking product designs on the back makes the
card work twice as hard.
Joinks
Shorter than standard with friendly round top corners and a laser cut dot pattern across the bottom
of the card for a tactile user experience.
COX Communications
Simple, stream lined and friendly, with a bold flash of color and rounded corners for a bit of the unexpected.
